Titanium and New iPhone App

So I lately I’ve been working with Titanium and I must says its quite a pleasure.  If you’ve ever worked with another JavaScript framework and understand the concept of the MVC (model, view, controller) design pattern then building apps for iPhone, Android, and iPad becomes a breeze.  The Documentation has been a little less thorough than I might like, but the Developer’s Center Q&A page can really help close the gaps.

I’ve been building an App I called Shortcut.  Now it’s not going to blow anyone away in terms of functionality, but it only took me a few hours to develop the entire apps functionality.  Not too shabby considering the learning curbs many face when going from web development into software development.  I just posted some pictures of the “Shortcut” app in my portfolio section if you’re curious.  I won’t be surprised if it gets denied due to the use of logos, but I found tons of apps in the app store containing logos and I really doubt they have the legal authority to use it.  If you decide to try your hand and you run into snags let me know.  I’m not an authority, but I can help you get started and point you in the right direction!

Portfolio Revamped!

So I just revamped my portfolio and while I was at it I decided I would go ahead and include a blog.  I’m not exactly sure what all I will be covering, but I’ll be sure to post lots of interesting technology tidbits.  For now be sure to check out TheBitchBox as it needs some serious love!!!  Don’t worry it’s not as bad as it sounds.  It’s just a place you can go complain about all your problems!
